Thursday - Arrival and costume fitting​
Morning: Arrive in Venice and check into your accommodation. Take some time to settle in and get acquainted with the beautiful city.
Afternoon: Head to Sogno Veneziano Atelier to get fitted for your exquisite carnival costume. Attention to detail is crucial to capturing the spirit of the carnival. Make an appointment far before you leave for Venice.
Evening: Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the charming canals of Venice, taking in the enchanting atmosphere and admiring the stunning architecture that surrounds you. Spot the first 'masks'. Decide whether you want to eat in a restaurant or enjoy drinks with cicchetti, Venetian 'tapas'.

Friday - Exploring Venice
​
Morning: Start your day by visiting the magnificent Basilica di San Marco. Marvel at its intricate Byzantine architecture and beautiful mosaics. The church opens at 09:30h. Don't forget to climb the Campanile for breath-taking panoramic views of the city. Get ticket in advance.
Afternoon: Immerse yourself in the carnival spirit by attending the Carnival Costume Contest at St. Mark's Square. Witness the creativity and craftsmanship of the participants' elaborate costumes as they compete for the grand prize. This event is free to attend.
Evening: Enjoy a delightful dinner at a local trattoria and savour the authentic flavours of Venetian cuisine. Don't forget to try some traditional Carnival delicacies like frittelle and galani. Or perhaps you would like to visit the beautiful opera house La Fenice? During carnival, the theater usually programs a popular opera such as Il barbiere di Siviglia or Rigoletto.

Saturday - The Grand Ball Carnival in Love or the Ball of Dreams
Morning: Explore the charming streets of Venice, discovering hidden gems and capturing the essence of the city through your lens. A visit to the Doge's Palace can best be booked ahead. 
Afternoon: Take your time to relax and prepare for an enchanting evening ahead.
Evening: Attend the highly anticipated Grand Ball Carnival in Love or Ball of Dreams at the Palazzo Ca' Zen ai Frari. These exclusive masquerade balls are a once-in-a-lifetime experience, filled with elegance, glamour, and magic. Dance the night away in your stunning costume, surrounded by the captivating ambiance of the ball.

​Sunday -  Admire a flight from the campanile and farewell
Morning: Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely morning after the grand festivities of the previous evening. At 12h experience the mesmerizing Flight of the Angel or Flight of the Eagle on San Marco Square. Watch in awe as a celebrity gracefully leaps off the bell tower.
Afternoon: Return your costume to Sogno Veneziano Atelier. After that immerse yourself in the fascinating world of glassblowing with a visit to a glass blowing show on Murano. Witness the stunning demonstrations of this ancient Venetian art. You can book your seat beforehand. Murano is 15 minutes by vaporetto (public boat) from Fondamente Nove.
​Evening: Indulge in a delicious dinner at a local restaurant, savouring traditional Venetian cuisine. Afterward, take a romantic gondola ride through the picturesque canals, enjoying the serenade of the gondolier. A wonderful way to say goodbye to Venice.

You can pick up your personal invitation and fit the dress/costume Giulia Russolo chose for you at Sogno Veneziano Atelier. The Atelier is 850 meter - or a 10 minutes walk - from the San Marco Square.
