On this picture you see me with my partner on our way to the family Russolo's Grand Ball. We have been to the Venetian Carnival several times.
It is a magical to see all those beautifully dressed people walking around with the historic Venice as a background. The reactions of people when you walk through Venice in the historical costumes of Giulia Russolo I could not have imagined beforehand. It had been quite a while since a young man went down on his knees, elegantly helping me off the stairs. Hmm.. did this ever happen before? Being at one of Venice's Grand Balls was a once in a lifetime experience.
